This sweater is the color of a poppy. It reminds of a patch of beautiful poppies in the summer. It is not heavy but because of the gorgeous texture of the fabric it has a warm look and feel. It is so cozy for winter days and nights and where I live in the mountains it will be seeing a lot of spring days too. I styled it with a shirttail cami, black skinny jeans and booties. They are probably the most comfortable booties I own and I love that the zipper is on the outside where you can see it. I topped it all off with a Mexican Fire Opal that I bought a long time ago. It is a pendant that you can attach to any chain. I wanted a long necklace but only had shorter chains so I hooked two together to get the perfect length.
Get the look . . . Cardigan, no longer in the poppy color but I am in love with this color! I also love that it has pockets. I am wearing size small. The top is from the Loft and is on sale. I am wearing a size small. I love the casual way the shirttail hangs. It is lined and very well made. It looks white but it is a light cream color. The jeans are Calvin Klein, similar at Macy's and on sale. The BP Trolley Booties are from Nordstrom, with lots of great colors. I have two colors, they are just great "go to" booties. I really want them in the Olive Suede.
