Suits Me Just Fine

suit 6.JPG

The Scoop

Nothing says, “I got this” more than a crisp suit. When I worked at the university my “go to” look was a suit. When I had an important meeting, speaking engagement or a deadline I always put on a power suit. They made me feel confident and ready for anything.

That’s why I am so loving that they are on trend this year. My gosh all the beautiful suits. I didn’t go out and buy a suit for this look because I wanted to show you that you probably have a suit in your closet. And it is perfect for any occasion. From barbecues to weddings they are the “it” look.

I’m not done suiting up this summer either, I have plans to wear shorts suits and skirt suits in all colors and styles. I have lots of blazers and jackets and I can almost always find a bottom that completes the suit look. They don’t need to be the same fabric or even the same color. That is the beauty of today’s suit trend.

suit 1.JPG
suit 5.JPG

My Look

This is not a suit as in the pieces don’t match and weren’t bought together. I got the pants many years ago because I wanted at least a couple of pairs of white slacks in my closet and the jacket was bought at a consignment store several years ago. My mules are fabulous white Calvin Klein’s (old also) and my cami is the infamous Express “Down Town” cami that every blogger swears by, including me. I have them in a couple of whites, cream, a couple of blacks, a mustard and a hot pink. Love love love these well made, lined, last for years cami’s. My bag was bought several years ago and was a splurge but I knew it was timeless in the black and white. It is a Michael Kors. I put on white Bauble Bar earrings, a white Chico’s Friendship bracelet and my apple watch with the leopard band. Lastly I have my initial necklace in gold. My closet is so curated after all these years that I rarely even need to buy new things. I love timeless pieces like each part of this look.

Mug Shot

I call this my mug shot. I have been doing a picture for a lot of my posts holding a mug and telling you the story behind the mug. This is my PBS mug. My god I love PBS television. It is almost all I watch. The things I Iearn are amazing and my view changes often after knowing more about a topic. My guilty pleasure now is watching the show The Durrells in Corfu. OMG, you must watch this series. There are three seasons now and one more is planned.

I also love all the cooking shows, they are far superior to the ones on the cooking channels. I leaned about boulder climbing on PBS and about Wilma Mankiller the first female chief of the Cherokee Nation. What an inspiring story.

But really in this picture I just wanted to eat my cookie. Ha ha. Below is a picture of the batch I made and the recipe. I added the peanut butter to the recipe and it worked perfectly but it is optional.

When I started looking for options I found it very difficult. Suits are terribly expensive but I found some fabulous items! Remember it is most fun to mix and match! Think outside the box and put items together that compliment but don’t match perfectly.

The Shirt Dress, A Summer Staple

shirt dress 20.JPG

The Scoop

So today’s post was fun to put together in that I was looking for different ways to style a shirt dress. It wasn’t too difficult to come up with three ways to wear one since there are a lot of YouTube videos showing several fabulous ways to style a shirt dress. I think these dresses are probably the most versatile piece of clothing out there.

shirt dress 19.JPG

Look One

For the first look I just simple wore the dress. Mine didn’t come with a belt so I added one that I already had. It is an old macrame belt that I thought worked perfectly. Sandals and a summer bag and that was all I needed to complete this look.

redress 12.JPG

Look Two

For this look I wore the dress as a duster. I took a basic white column of white jeans and a white tee and added a belt to the jeans. I wore sandals and carried a matching bag and this look was complete.

Look Three

For my final look I wore the dress as a top with the jeans. This was my favorite look. I belted the top and added heels this time to elevate the look. A summer clutch completed this look.

Full On Summer Look

blue 1.JPG

The Scoop

I didn’t get this post out as early as I planned today but here it is! I have been down in the city and I didn’t take my laptop because I had tons of errands and appointments and knew I wouldn’t have time to work on the blog.

When I got up this morning there was frost on the ground here in the mountains. Burr! Our highs were only in the 50s yesterday and will only be about 65 today. That’s a big shift from last week when it was in the 70s and 80s. That’s when I took these pictures. Now I’m back in my jeans and sweatshirts. This whole week is going to be 60s and low 70s which is not bad. It is great for runs, hikes and long walks so I’m good with it.

blue 2.JPG
blue 3.JPG

My Look

While it was so warm I wore this outfit and loved it! I love an easy summer look. This top is so comfy and screams summer time. And these sandals are so good! Nothing in my closet right now feels more comfortable than these and I love the chambray color. These will be my favorite sandals for summer. My shorts are old as is my hat and my bag that I got at our local thrift shop. For jewelry I’m wearing bauble bar earrings in a pale pink, a white friendship bracelet and my apple watch.

Hair

I had to wear a hat because my hair has been a mess lately. I got a haircut yesterday so maybe that will help. I also got a new flat iron that I am loving to use to make beachy waves. I will tell you more about it soon. I didn’t have it for these pictures but tried it yesterday and am amazed!

Hello Yellow

top 4.JPG

The Scoop

Feeling so accomplished here as this is my second post of the week and I have photos in the can for another full week. While I write this we are in the mountains for the week and I have been doing so well on my fitness. I have been doing HIIT runs, yoga and long walks daily. I am at a point where I can feel my age and I know if I don’t keep moving it will be a slippery slope. So my days here in the mountains have been a lot of self care. I turned 59 a couple of weeks ago and time isn’t slowing down so there is no time like the present to “choose happy” and be good to me.

The weather is turning cold (highs in the 50s) for a few days so we will be heading to the city for dentist appointments and hair cuts later this week. I am having a time with my hair so it’s time for a trim.

As I go through this post I will point out a few of my home DIYs from this spring. In the family room I painted the walls a linen color and the cabinetry white. I added crystal knobs to the cabinet doors. I left the shelves the oak color because I like the contrast. The top of the fireplace mantel was also left the oak color. I hung sheer curtains and the room now is so calming and comfortable.

top 7.JPG

My Look

I just got this top and I was mostly drawn to the beautiful yellow color. Plus it is the perfect top for hot weather. It has been mostly in the 70s and 80s which means its time for comfortable tops. I wore a pair of white jeans but white shorts would be great with this top too. Summer sandals and a fun bag completed this look.

top 8.JPG

Dining Room

Behind me is our dinning room. I painted the walls above the chair rails the same linen color and below the chair rails I painted it a dark blue. It is called dark denim. I hung dark denim blue and white curtains and we had the built in buffet top replaced from tile to granite that has tons of dark blues. Love this room so much!

top 9.JPG

My Sunglasses

I love these sunglasses so much that I ordered them in a gradient tortoise color. I wear them all the time.

top 13.JPG
top 14.JPG

Formal Living Room

The formal living room will have to be painted by professionals because of the two story high walls and ceilings. I plan to tackle that this fall when we are there full time. Wood floors go throughout the house and I want to sand them all down and re-stain them. I haven’t decided on a color. The wood on the steps is in a herringbone design and I love them.

I’ll show you the kitchen in a future post. We updated the counter tops to granite, painted and put in new appliances. I love the space so much and it is perfect for cooking which is another hobby of mine.

Halter Tops

halter top 6.JPG

The Scoop

It is absolutely fabulous weather now and I am enjoying wearing all the summer things in my closet. There is so much to do when the weather is nice and I am loving being so busy. On this day we were going to Trader Joe’s for shopping and then out to lunch. And a shopping day is never complete until we stop by Costco too.

Our weeks are divided up between our house in the city and our house in the mountains so I get all the advantages of the bustling city and those of the quiet country life. As it gets hotter though we will be in the mountains most of the week.

I have been going to the trails in town to walk or run this year since we have bears hanging out around our trails at the house and they are way to close for comfort. When we came back this week we had bear paw prints on the car windows of our car we left in the drive way. They are such curious creatures. They have tried to get into our garage and my husbands shop.

Bear proof trash cans are required here because they will keep coming back if you have trash they can dig through. We have watched them wrestle our big bear proof trash cans all over the place trying to get them open. But as we are here more they will move on because they really don’t like to be around people.

halter top 4.JPG

My Look

This top was so popular last year when I got it and I still love it this season. The bright colors are right up my ally and I love the halter style. It reminds me of the tops we used to make when I was a teenager. We used a soft cotton rope for the ties and cold make one is minutes.

I wore the top with a pair of old shorts and sandals. I am mixing high and low in this look. My bag is a dupe of bags that cost around $250 that I got for about $25. My sandals are the real Tory Burch but you can now gets dupes for them. I have to say the real ones are so comfortable and I wear them a lot. My earrings are from Tuckernuck and several years old but I wear them a lot because they are my favorite color. My apple watch and a Chico’s friendship bracelet completed my look.

halter top 6.JPG

I’m linking beautiful halter tops, my same Tory Burch sandals, my dupe bag and the designer version and my exact apple watch (the best thing I have ever bought for my fitness). Dog Days Of Summer And A Blogging Break Update

shorts 1.JPG

Sup' Gang?

Popping in from my hiatus to say hi!

the scoop

There is so much to tell you and I don't really like to bore you too much so let's just say things have been crazy around here. But I wanted to check in at midway through my month off of blogging to let you know what's happening.

I was so over blogging for a a while and I am only starting to miss it a little. But even if I did miss it I wouldn't have time to do it. My husband has been the sickest he has ever been since I have known him. He is a major health nut but somehow he got walking pneumonia. And he is very anti medication so he refused to go to the doctor for six weeks. Finally I threatened him and he went and they put him on antibiotics and now at week eight he is starting to come out of it. But he was so sick for a long time.

My son and grandson came to visit for a week and we had a wonderful time. I miss them now that they are gone. We hiked, ran, cooked, made jams, went shopping and so much more. It was a whirl wind visit and I needed a couple of days rest after. I don't know if I ever told you this but my son is the male version of me. Seriously we love all the same things in life. First family, then cooking, fashion, fitness, etc. It is so fun to share things with someone who gets me so clearly. We are both introverts and just think the same way about life. It's interesting and fun!

Around the time of all this starting we were already in the process of buying a house so most the running, and making decisions was done by me alone.  We bought a house in Boise for when we spend time there. You all know how I love the quiet life here in the mountains but l also like the city life from time to time so now we have a place to stay when we go down. For the past few weeks I have been setting up that place when I have time between taking care of my husband and company visiting. We have one more round of family coming at the end of August but just for a couple of nights. I am prepping for that now.

Through all this I am trying to take care of myself which has been hard. You know how we always put others' needs first. It's in our genes. But I have continued to run a few times a week and have been extremely active with moving and keeping things under control. My diet has suffered since I have been needing a little comfort food, so lots of room for improvement there. You all probably understand the toll stress can take on your body. This spring has been a land mind of stress for me. I lost a beloved aunt, a favorite uncle, and a brother. My mother is very ill as well as other siblings with advanced lung diseases. My son went through a heart breaking divorce and then my husband got sick. I feel a little battered right now but know the only way out is up. So I make each day a day to be grateful and carry on.

Now that my husband is on the mend I plan to really work on my health, lose the five pounds that I put on over the winter and keep the joy of life as a top priority. Wish me luck!

my look

This was a very casual day for me like most of my days recently. I am obsessed with this long shirt that can be worn as a dress or a duster. It will carry me through fall and winter with so many styling options. I can't wait to experiment! For this look I wore a pair of DIY cut offs and a gray cami. Nude flip flops worked just right for the day.

Got Blog?

I plan  to be back to my blogging routine in September but I still feel I need a little change so I am trying to envision what that might be. Meanwhile I decorated my office in the house in the city. And I totally love it! I went with a bit of a French theme but really I had no plan when I started. I just went shopping a picked out things I loved and somehow they all came together. The desk is a beautiful deep red and I still have to get a chair and a chandelier. I tweaked a little more after this picture, added a few more accessories and installed my Alexa. The results were a peaceful pleasant space to dream, create and be happy. I'll try to follow up with better and more pictures soon.

Summer Color

turq 17.JPG

Summer

color.

the scoop

There are certain colors that feel like summer to me and turquoise is one of those colors. I don't have lot of this color in my closet but the few pieces I have stand the test of time and always are perfect for a summer day.

Speaking of summer it is in full swing here in the mountains. Our days are in the upper 80s and nights in the mid 50s. Perfect temperatures only marred by the fires all over the west including here in Idaho. We couldn't drive down to the city using our normal route today due to fires shutting down the highway. We're hoping they open up by tonight so we can go down. These fires are normal for this time of year in Idaho but they are making our air smokey which can irritate the eyes and throat. But nothing can dull the beauty of this time of  year in my eyes. We're certainly hoping for a short fire season this year for everyone being effected.

turq 1.JPG

We're going down to the city for the weekend for a furniture delivery to the house and to check out the fabulous Farmer's Market down town. We are also going to one of the local orchards for peaches, they are just coming into season. Normally I would be making jams with them but this year I am so busy I may not tackle that job.

Closing Day!

What to wear

to a house closing

the scoop

A couple of things here goin' on. Maybe three . . . It's closing day on the house in the city and I am so excited. But I'm almost as excited about these jeans. I mean they are hands down my favorite pair for summer. So boho, so comfy, so me! But wait there's more! This top with these jeans is crazy my loves! CRAZY!

But back to the house. I am headed down with a big truck load of stuff, doing the final walk through and picking up the keys. I will spend the night in a sleeping bag. Ugh. Because bright and early in the morning some of my furniture is being delivered. So a fun little camp-out for me!  Think giant pizza on the floor, TV hooked up to rabbit ears. Ha ha! But it's the beginning of fun projects of putting together our place. My husband will follow along shortly after. He is the president of the Idaho Aviation Association, McCall Chapter and the annual fly-in is tomorrow and he has to be there for that. Then he and the fur babies will be on their way to help because its all hands on deck this weekend.

Linking exact jeans and similar items for creating your own look!

Boho

my look

These jeans went out of stock in most sizes when I first wrote this post, then they were restocked but I am sure they will sell out again really fast. I snatched up a second pair as soon as I saw them available.  This top is so boho! You can wear it like a peasant blouse or off the shoulders. I mean how fun it that? My shoes are old but perfect low heeled sandals in orange and tan. The fun little bag was a thrift find and I love it! My layered necklace is old too. It's hard to see but it had a pineapple and star and other beach type things.

Got Kimono?

kim 4.JPG

Kimono and Jeans

Sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G

the scoop

I don't know what I want to talk about first, the kimono or the jeans. I talked about my latest kimono additions here. The green tropical maxi kimono is totally a favorite but this is the other one I got from Amazon and the colors just sing! They are my colors! If I had a flag it would be in oranges!

But wait, the jeans. Holy Moly, they are goodins'! Yes they have become my favorite jeans for summer 2018. They look like they are from 1979 which is a big part of why I love them. Now it's obvious I was alive and wearing similar jeans in 1979 but there is a big difference. Back then there was no stretch in the jeans so not quite as comfortable but these have a little bit of stretch. Not enough to make them stretch out but enough that they fit in all the right places. Hello lover! Ha ha. Nope, not drinking wine, just iced coffee.

sup?

In my effort to make sure I spelled that right I learned this . . .

Urban Dictionary: sup
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=sup
  1.
A term that cool people use because they are too damn lazy to say What's up. (Too much effort involved there man.)

Now I beg to differ because I just spent a great deal of time, looking it up and putting it in this post which ended up even more difficult because I wanted it in the quote format.  Just saying.

Summer Chic

all black 1.JPG

the scoop

I love summer fashion but I think options are limited when it comes to variety. Other seasons give you more of an opportunity to layer which provides endless options and creativity. But I must admit putting together an outfit for an evening out is a lot of fun when you don't have to think about keeping warm. And I think a monochromatic look is so chic for summer. All black or all white just always works.

Linking exact jeans, shoes and top (limited sizes and colors) and a couple of similar tops and fun bags for summer.

all black 11.JPG

my look

This top covers a lot but yet it doesn't. The sleeves are sheer so not at all too warm for evenings and baring the shoulders is also a comfortable way to keep cool. This top is great because it is nicely secured around the neck. You don't even think about it falling or being too revealing. I decided to wear it with cropped black denim for a chic look. I had packed most of my belts to move to our other house so had to use this silver metal belt which I ended up actually liking. Nothing makes black pop more than tan shoes and bags so there you have it. A complete look. I added colorful earrings for fun. It wasn't planned but red toes and white nails added even more interest to this look.

Why I Said Good Bye To Social Media

black 9.JPG

Life

should be lived in the present.

the scoop

I've been asked many times now several questions about deleting most of my social media accounts. Why did I leave? Has it affected my blog numbers? How does it feel to not be on my phone or computer so much are just a few of the questions. I thought in this post I would let you know how it is going or has turned out.

Why did I delete?

In early June I deleted my Facebook, Google+ and Twitter accounts. Why? Mostly because I think they only promote competition and self doubt. But also because they misuse the trust people put in them regarding privacy. I also didn't like the feeling of always needing to be online to promote, reciprocate, be perfect, etc. The endless feeling of unrest was just stupid in my mind. Social media didn't own me, I owned it. So I took control. I still have my IG account but have basically ghosted it for a month or so. I want to delete it too but am still considering the fact that it used to be my favorite form of social media. I enjoyed sharing and liking with my IG friends. But at some point they disappeared and the whole thing became frustrating. And any new followers I got were men who had no interest in fashion or the life style of a woman my age. So I am pretty sure I will nix it soon.

I still love Pinterest and will be holding on to it. It is relaxing and doesn't make me feel like I owe it or someone else something. I hope they don't change it and screw it up. I use Bloglovin' to track the blogs I follow and will stay with it for now too. It seems non invasive so I'm good with it.

how has it effected my blog?

My blog numbers are down about 21%  month on month. I don't blame it all on quitting social media though. I have slacked off on my commenting and participating in link ups as well as shut down my own link up party account (Style Wise). The biggest decrease came from letting it go. But dropping off  21% seems worth all the freedom I am feeling these days. I also feel like this fall when I get back into things I can bring the numbers back up. Summer's are usually slow in the blogsphere. People can get out more and don't want to spend as much time online. And I agree and support that! And I am still up 73% in unique visitors and 43% views year on year so that is awesome! I remember when I only had one or two visitors and was happy with that! Ha ha!

I still get daily invites for collaborations but I'm no longer interested in them either. It is another way of me trying to be something I am not. Once in a great while I will hook up to help someone out but mostly I just say no. I've come to learn that the the brands benefit much more than the influencers most of the time. I am always open to helping a cause if I can though.

I love affiliate programs and use Reward Style all the time. I enjoy it and it helps pay for some of my blogging expenses. They are so nice and helpful and fair! Mostly it's a great way for me so share my style with others.

black 3.JPG

how did it effect me?

I have a lot more free time on my hands! I can fit in reading a book, talking on the phone, going for walks, cooking. You get the picture. Smell the roses. It was a little difficult at first because I was worried my blog would tank. But I told myself that I wanted readers that were long term, not blue birds that flitted in accidentally. And an organic following would build that kind of readership.

Right now I am very honored to have the readers I have and enjoy getting to know them and interact through my blog. I have my creative outlet, a fun hobby and amazing readers. It's all good! I can look to the future of my evolving interests and know I am being supported by the most amazing people ever!

will i return?

I never say never about anything. But I don't see myself returning to facebook, twitter or google+. I may revive my Style Wise Link Up party in the fall because although it was a lot of extra work, it was fun. IG is still on the chopping block. I would love some input. Would you delete it? Are you on social media? Do you enjoy it? I would love to hear what other's think!

my look

I was so taken by this fun top when I saw it because of the big bell sleeves and the black trim on them. I also liked the style of this top with the buttons half way down the front and an almost peasant design. I could see it would be perfect for so many outfits. I mean black and white is the original basic! I wore it with a pair of cropped shinny jeans and tan wedge sandals and a basket tote completed this look.

My Kimono

green 14.JPG

Kimono

love.

the scoop

Everyone, everywhere is showing their kimono love! I had just one as seen here and here and it was a few years old. So I decided I needed another one or maybe two. Ha ha.  I was given a gift card to Amazon for my birthday and decided it should be used to add a couple of kimonos to my closet. So my search began. Finding kimonos to love was not a problem, but picking just a couple from all the beautiful options was a problem.

I am in love with leaf print this season and wanted to add it to my closet so when I saw this kimono I knew it was the one! I ordered and to my surprise it arrived in just a couple of days. Often when I order from Amazon the product comes from another country and takes weeks so I figured this one would too. I was happily surprised! I can't wait to show you the other one I ordered. At any rate I am all good on kimonos now.

Linking my kimono, wedges and cami. My shorts are old but linking simialr and fun wicker bags. I got my Baublebar earrings at Target early Spring.

I decided to keep this kimono the star of the show so went with an all white column. White denim shorts and a white cami to be exact. Tan wedges and a wicker bag completed my look. For jewelry I wore BaubleBar tassel earrings in white and a white watch. I also wore a layered necklace. It all turned out great for a causal summer look.

I have used this self tanner for a couple of years now and really like it. It is a mouse so easy to apply and provides instant color. I only use it on my legs usually but have used it all over.

Making Camo Feminine

camo 9.JPG

Camo

Feeling feminine in a masculine pattern.

the scoop

I grew up in an area where people hunted and camo was worn for that purpose. I never really thought of wearing camo until the last few years of watching it being transformed into so many fun outfits. I now have this pattern in a tee, shirt, jacket and jeans. I love them all and find them so versatile. I have found that I can put together really feminine looks now and it's fun.

Now is a great time to get a field jacket. Linking several below, all on sale. Perfect to tie around your waist outside but put on in the cold resturants and shops.

my look

For this look I am wearing a black tee dress. It is just tee shirt material with a relaxed fit and slit pockets on the sides. A favorite dress for me. I added a camo jacket since we have not even made it to the 70s most days here in the mountains. I wore a pair of platform espadrilles, and a pink cap to add feminine touches. I carried an old picnic basket for a tote to complete my look.

Linking fun options for dresses, sneakers and bags! All on sale!

They Call Me Mellow Yellow

festive 7.JPG

when you know a hero

This is a last minute add in. I don't talk much about my immediate family, I respect their privacy and my blog is about frivolous things and not personal things. But I have to share this story. Today my youngest son called me and told me about something that had just happened.

He was driving on the highway in Kansas City where he lives and an older woman had made a move that angered a younger man. The man began trying to run her off the road and finally got in front of her and stopped her. My son pulled in behind her and watched as the man got out of his truck with a small knife. My son grabbed his big wooden umbrella and got out of his car and told the guy to get away. My son is big and strong and the guy stopped immediately and turned to run away but first stabbed the lady's tire. He got in his truck and did a u turn and took off. My son got in his car and followed him and got his license plate number and a picture of the car. Then he went back to the lady who was with her 12-year-old granddaughter and called the police. They came and he gave them all the information he had attained and made sure the lady and her grand daughter were okay before calling me.

I was so proud of my son and so scared for him. My heart was in my throat as I listened to his story. He was very brave and did the right thing. Too many people would have not stopped to help and he did. He is not stupid, he said he looked at the situation carefully and knew he could take the guy down in a heartbeat. He was furious that someone would try to hurt an older lady and a child. He said he could not stand by and let it happen. I am so proud of my son. He is my hero. He was a hero for someone he didn't even know. She was so grateful and shaken. He said she could barely write his name down. I feel so bad for her but happy that someone was there to help her. No one else will ever know this story but that is what being a hero is, helping others in trouble without thought to yourself. And I know a hero.

the scoop

Yellow has cast it's spell on me this spring. I have never been a fan of yellow. When I was a small child I got lots of ear infections and the medicine I was given was yellow. I still remember the taste and the trauma of being held down while warm ear drops where put in my ears. It was very upsetting to me and I never forgot it and every time I saw yellow the memories came back. And even now I recall those times but I am pretty much over blaming the color yellow. Ha ha!

Linking my top (limited sizing), and several other fabulous tops in yellows.

my look

This top is sort of a light mustard color and the minute I saw it, I liked it. The fact that it had the cold shoulder design and was in a sort of linen fabric made it even more appealing. I wore it with my DIY cut off shorts and my fabulous striped Seychelles mules that I got last year. The shorts are button fly Lucky Brand and very comfy. I plan to cut off a few more jeans this summer. I usually go to the thrift shops for jeans to cut off which is where I got these.

Linking several options for shorts and mules for creating your own look!

Where The Wind Blows

It's my

Birthday Weekend!

the scoop

As I write this post I have no plans to celebrate my birthday. My husband's birthday is the day after mine and we decided to wing it! Fly by the seat of our pants and go where the wind blows us on our special weekend. No matter what we end up doing it will include taking time to relax and reflect and be grateful. We did manage to book a hotel at the last minute but other than that anything can happen! As long as I am in bed by 9! Ha ha!

Basket bags are so fun for summer, especially when they are thrifted!

my look

This top grabbed me when I saw it due to its bright colors. Then I saw the style. We used to make these tops by the dozens when I was a teen. We used a soft white rope cord to string through the top to tie it in the back. This is the easiest top to make and we all learned to sew making it. The fabric on this top is a crepe (another blast from the past) so it hangs softly which I love also. I wore it with jeans and platform wedges and carried a fabulous straw bag that I got a a thrift shop a few years ago. I wore my bright orange tassel earrings from Tuckernuck and a bracelet that I bought in Mazatlan a few years ago and my Michael Kors watch. And that was that! A fun summer look. I think I would like this top in other colors it is so cute and comfy. I wear stick on bras with tops like this. I'll link it so you can see what I am talking about.

Linking my top (tts, I am wearing a small petite for the shorter length) and jeans (limited sizing when I posted) along with shoe and bag options!
